Portfolio V1
A modern portfolio website built in React and Next.JS. This website was designed in Figma and it's main focus is the simplicity.
The Purpose
I wanted a space that genuinely represented me and my work. Rather than relying on a template, I designed and developed this portfolio from scratch to showcase my projects, skills, and approach to web design.
The Goal
My goal was to create a portfolio that would capture the attention of potential employers and clients while demonstrating my ability to take a project from initial concept through to a fully developed website.
The Process
The development process involved serveral key steps.
First, I had used Figma to create a design for mobile, tablet and Desktop. I thought out the full design and made changes where necessary. After I had finished and completed the design in Figma, I moved onto making the design come to life. I used React and created a Next.JS project, and thoroughly copied my design.
As you can probably see from the image, depsite being happy with my design, I changed it along the way, removing certain elements to make it more satisfying to view and to make it easier on the eye.
